Hosting

I provide hosting for my clients only. There are several benefits to this arrangement, not the least of which are efficiency, economy, and reliability. Be aware that I do not actually manage the hardware myself; rather, I lease space from major data centers that are properly equipped, competently staffed, and centrally located.

The advantage of the Advanced plan may not be immediately evident. Most hosts will put several hundred websites on a single server. All of these compete for the machine's resources. This can create reliability and performance issues, slow or dropped requests, ect. The Advanced package server is less densely packed than is the Basic one, allowing for better all-around performance. As well as augmented limits, you also get a static IP and a basic certificate with this. If you're passing any sort of sensitive information through the network, you should have a certificate. It encrypts the transmission and helps curtail things like man in the the middle attacks. For this reason, they are used extensively in the financial industry and on ecommerce sites.

If you require a virtual private (VPS) or dedicated server or Sharepoint hosting, that too can be arranged.
