Content Management
I use a few different approaches to content management. Which is most appropriate,
as usual, depends on the scenario being considered; nonetheless, in the coming days
I hope to provide explanations as well as some pricing information where possible.
In the meantime, as a rough guideline, packages start at around $4500 or $5000.
This includes a commercial or proprietary (developed in-house) Content Management
System license, Basic Design, and Basic Hosting for one
year.
I do install Open Source content management systems (Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla,
DotNETNuke and others) for advanced users or those sufficiently motivated to endure
a less user-friendly experience. This option is certainly not for everyone, however.
I find clients frequently struggle with them (if not abandon them in complete in frustration).
